How Vetting and Calibration Works.
1. Identity and credentials
Every applicant's identity and claimed employment or credentials are checked before they can review.
2. Calibration test
Applicants score a set of past, redacted startups against the published rubric. Scores are compared to a reference panel.
3. Tier assignment
A calibration tier (Calibrated, Senior or Lead) is assigned from that test and re-checked as reviews accumulate.

Under $300
New to the platform. Passed calibration and cleared identity and credential checks.
Senior Tier
$300 to $800
A track record of accurate, well-evidenced reviews at volume.
Lead Tier
Over $800
The platform's highest-accuracy reviewers, often chosen for the hardest calls.

Two Ways to Be Reviewed.
A Blind Double Review is platform-matched and tier-priced as a band. You buy the review, not the expert, and two reviewers score independently, with identities never disclosed. A Direct Expert Engagement is founder-selected from this directory at that expert's exact rate, and the expert knows who you are. An expert can never do both for the same founder: a direct engagement permanently excludes that expert from that founder's blind pool, and a blind review blocks direct engagement with that founder for 12 months.
